Manager Location: Remote Compensation Range: This role has openings
with multiple experience levels, $140,000 - $210,000 commensurate
with experience. We understand individuals gain experience in many

of our economy. Join the hunt and help us stop hackers in their
tracks What You'll Do: The Huntress team is looking for an
experienced GoLang engineer who also has experience writing
software for Windows. This engineer will be responsible for
developing applications that communicate with our web portal to
provide our ThreatOps team with critical threat-hunting
information. In this role you will work within a cross-functional
agile delivery team to deliver complete end-to-end functionality.
Responsibilities: Work on a GoLang application that runs natively
on Windows Integrate with backend REST APIs for managing state
Collaborate with QA and DevOps to build a robust testing framework
Lead the development of non-trivial features and implementation
tasks Mentor junior engineers to help them level-up their skills
Provide accurate estimates and take ownership over timely
completion of work Develop high quality software and set standards
for team excellence What You Bring To The Team: 3 years programming
in GoLang 5 years programming on Windows in C, C++, C#, or another
language commonly used to write windows software 7 years of
experience developing software professionally Experience with agile
methodologies such as story writing, estimation, retrospectives,
Kanban, or Scrum Experience writing software in a distributed
architecture Able to communicate highly technical concepts clearly
