Flowserve is looking for a Maintenance Technician at our manufacturing facility in Taneytown, MD. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment at our facility including CNC machines, manual lathes, drill presses, hydraulic components, and other equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facility, preventing downtime and minimizing equipment failures. This is a 1 st shift role. Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair all assets to ensure their proper operating condition.
• Provide preventative and correct maintenance on various conventional and CNCs 5 axis milling, mill turn applications, horizontal and vertical lathes.
• Troubleshoot and repair control & electrical system failures involving PLCs, HMIs, servomotors, servo amplifiers, and input/output.
• Troubleshoot and repair various machine tool hydraulic and pneumatic systems including actuators, valves, pumps, and filters.
• Troubleshoot and repair machine tool mechanical systems including ball screws, linear rails, guideways, and gearboxes.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
• Comply with all safety regulations and procedures.
• Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment. Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment, with a focus on CNC machines.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic systems.
  • Familiarity with PLCs and other control systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
