Regulatory Scientist for our Chemical Regulation & Food Safety
Practice in the Washington, DC office. In this role, you will work
as part of a team to provide a high level of project management,
FIFRA regulatory and technical assistance, and program support to
the consultants in the Center for Chemical Regulation and Food
Safety.You will be responsible for
- Managing and tracking client projects, project deliverables and
budgets
- Interacting with internal project staff to discuss client
projects, tasks, deliverables and budgets
- Interacting with clients as well as EPA and State
regulators
- Gaining a strong understanding of FIFRA regulatory policy
- Preparing and submitting Federal and State registration
applications
- Providing regulatory and technical review and quality control
support for FIFRA and related projectsYou will have the following
skills and qualifications
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in a Science related field
- Experience with state and/or federal pesticide regulations
- Experience in a scientific and/or research environment a
plus
- Must be detail oriented, able to work independently, and manage
time effectively
- Excellent communication, writing, editing and proofreading
skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a
collaborative environment
- Strong ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects
with competing deadlines
- Experience with project management, budget tracking, and
invoicing a plus
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook,
Adobe Acrobat required, experience with MS Project a plus
- Exposure to sensitive information will necessitate considerable
use of tact, diplomacy, discretion, and judgment

compensation plan is consistent with its expectations of the
quality and quantity of work performed and with the professional
standards set by Exponent. At the Associate and Senior Associate
level, total compensation includes base salary, bi-weekly bonuses
for high-intensity efforts, annual bonus and 401(k) employer
contribution of 7% of base salary.The base salary range for this
position is dependent on experience and capabilities which will be
assessed during the interview process.Salary RangeUSD $98,800.00 -
