Planning firm in the Ellicott City, MD area is seeking a full-time
Office Specialist. Candidate must exhibit exceptional time
management skills, attention to detail, accept direction, be
customer service oriented and skilled with technology. An excellent

Requirements
- Associates Degree preferred
- Financial industry experience preferred
- Experience with MS office suite and the ability to learn new
software quickly
- Good writing skills Position Overview:The primary
responsibility of this position is to provide support to Advisors
by organizing and ensuring smooth operations within the office.
Always putting the client first, this position will be heavily
dependent upon a positive attitude, solid work ethic and desire to
go above and beyond. Other responsibilities include development of
positive client relationship and compliance support.
Responsibilities/Tasks:The Client Service Representative will be
expected to have consistent follow-through with all efforts, build
relationships with prospects and clients, and help prepare the
Advisor for Client appointments. Other daily, weekly, and/or
monthly tasks may include:
- Receive incoming client calls in a friendly manner
- Complete each service request and resolve client issues
- Input notes in CRM and keep updated
- Handle servicing of specific client accounts (opening, closing,
and transferring of accounts)
- Manage Advisors calendar, keep Advisor organized and prep for
all client meetings
- Assist with Client update reports and mailings
- Attend seminars/workshops and follow up with the prospects from
the seminars
- Assist Advisors with follow up on Marketing Leads
- Assist with new business processing
- Work independently and proactively to meet personal business
