If you match this description, get in touch!What you'll doWeld predominately extruded aluminum, die-cast, and sandcast using MIG, Stick and TIG welding practicesOperate both auto and semi-automated welding equipmentMake adjustments necessary for aluminum alloy being used including intensity of arc, slope and amount of argonWork from drawings and written or verbal instructionsInterpret material/part needs and order of priority listed on work orders and production schedules by using ability to read and accurately complete move tickets and other tracking documentsMay operate a forklift to move parts into the welding areaExamine finished work for defects and conformance with specificationsMaintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and practices. Includes wearing the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed and/or requiredPerform routine maintenance on equipment including cleaning tipsYour qualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred2+ years' experience working in a manufacturing environment performing a welding operationExperience welding aluminum preferredAbility to accurately read and interpret blueprints and follow engineering specificationsAbility to stand for long periods of timeAbility to lift 75 lbsAbility to comply with established Safety policies and proceduresAbility to read and understand EnglishPossess good hand/eye coordinationMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needsWhat you'll get in return...We're offering multiple opportunities for career development, like mentoring, coaching and stretch assignments, with strong international exposure for dynamic profiles.
