Sodexo Seniors is looking for a Chef
Manager to join our team at a beautiful, newly
opened, upscale CCRC located in Ellicott City, Maryland. The Chef
Manager will support the day to day operations for a bistro and 2
restaurant style venues. The ideal candidate will have
experience with Sodexo's Food Management System (FMS) or similar
systems, a solid knowledge of HACCP standards and the ability to
manage a team of 25 team members. The successful candidate
will have a strong culinary background all while maintaining
excellent leadership, communication and customer service
The successful candidate will:
and standardize all culinary systems and procedures for Senior
Living Facility: Catering, Retail menus, LTO’s, STG, Mindful,
garnishing, panning charts, production, puree standardization, FMS
sheets, inventory control, HACCP, cleaning schedules, staffing
plans, presentation and quality of food, kitchen cleanliness,
safety, etc. Sodexo standards will be the benchmark;
with vendors on procurement items;
for purchasing manager and purchasing financial audits;
sustainability program with the direction of Director of Culinary
innovative and fresh ideas in retail, catering and patient
interpersonal relationships with clients in Senior Living

leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain
the highest of standards and implements company
management skills and previous experience working in a high-volume
strong production culinary background, ideally in an up-scale
leading and engaging a culinary team, with exceptional human
resource and supervisory/management skillset;
planning experience and a strong understanding of current culinary
ability to multitask and proven effectiveness in a high-standards
strong understanding of forecasting, food cost management,
purchasing, inventory and labor management concepts;
and effective problem-solving and project management
