JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State Hazleton has a variety of positions available to second-year students participating in the Pathway to Success: Summer Start (PaSSS) program. On-campus partners will hire PaSSS students to fulfill the work component of the program. Assigned duties are based on the location in which the student is placed. Students must have enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credits in the summer in order to participate in the work component. The PaSSS program is by invitation only.

Interested applicants must be current, full-time Penn State undergraduate students. Applicants may need to participate in Child Abuse Training, a Penn State Student Conduct Record check, and a background check.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters. The ASR is available for review here.
