The Assistant Teacher Floater provides assistance to multiple
classrooms (ages 6 weeks to 3yrs) with implementing lesson plans,
classroom management and physical activities and meals.
The Assistant Teacher is responsible for:
Creating a stimulating and nurturing learning environment.
Assists the teacher in maintaining a classroom where children
consistently have things to do and are interested and engaged in
Establishing positive and productive relationships with families,
engaging them in their child's learning.
Advancing social, physical and intellectual competence of the child
Provides positive guidance and intentional learning experiences
that build on strengths and are responsive to each child's needs.
Shift: M-F, Hours varied (36.5 hours per week)
This position requires:

High School Diploma/GED required 90 hour ECE certification and a
9 hour MSDE approved communications class required.
One year of experience working with infants and toddlers in an
approved setting or one year of college or a combination of
experience and college that equals one year of experience.

completion of a Child Development Associate Credential (CDA), or
Associate degree in the field of early childhood education. We
