JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The College of Agricultural Sciences, Farm Services Department
seeks to hire an individual to fill a part-time wage payroll
position to work the Summer farming season.
Job responsibilities will include:
* Assist with everyday farming activities using various farming
equipment such as tractors, manure spreaders, and mowers on
University farms. * Assist with hay and straw harvest. * Assist
with field harvest operations. * Assist with Snider Agricultural
Arena maintenance and event staging requirements. * Assist with
general maintenance of equipment and vehicles.
Perform clean-up duties in and around farm buildings and fields
as needed. Tolerance to various environmental conditions is
required. Applicants must have a valid driver`s license to include
Commercial Driver`s License (CDL) Class B without Air Brake
Restriction (L) endorsements upon hire.
Since this position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as
part of your job duties, successful completion of a motor vehicle
records check will be required in addition to standard background
checks and medical clearance.

Monday through Friday, (Mid May - Thanksgiving (up to 28 weeks).
Some overtime and weekend work possible.
