• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks (vacuum, wet mop, dust, laundry, etc.)
• Meal preparation
• Transportation
• Reminders (medication, appointments, etc.)
• Dementia Care, Hospice care supportRequirements to be a CAREGiver- CNA
• Must be dependable and possess an excellent attitude
• Must possess an active--Maryland CNA License--
• Ability to read and understand care plans and assessments
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with all team members of Home Instead, clients and their family members in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ability to lift, push or pull 25 pounds
• Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel and reach
• Ability to adapt to various living environments and locations
• Ability to drive to work site locations
• Possess a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance
• Ability to drive up to a 25 mile radius
