Description: Reports to: R&D Testing Engineer Schedule: · Seasonal Position: March, 2026- October, 2026 · Workdays: Monday- Friday · Hours: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Wright Manufacturing, an award-winning producer of commercial-grade lawn equipment, in Frederick, Maryland, is seeking a creative and motivated R&D Seasonal Equipment Operator to play an active role in supporting the initiatives of the team. Wright's seasonal position would be a great opportunity for a hands-on, mechanically inclined, self-starter, and motivated individual. Wright is a "soup to nuts" company where metal comes in one door and finished products go out the other. Responsibilities: Candidate R&D Seasonal Equipment Operator should be able to demonstrate proficiency in: · Collaborate with the R&D team to conduct functionality, performance, stress, and reliability testing to ensure products meet quality standards · Operate and test products in local test fields under varied conditions to evaluate real-world performance · Provide detailed feedback on user experience, performance, and potential improvements Requirements: Skills & Attributes: · Physical requirements: ability to lift up to 75 lbs. consistently and perform manual labor in various weather conditions · Experience operating landscaping equipment and tools safely (preferred) · Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work · Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment · Strong problem-solving skills to address unexpected challenges on-site · Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tasks · Excellent reliability, punctuality, and attendance · Creative mindset with a drive for continuous improvement · Positive attitude and strong work ethic · Reliable transportation to and from the job site · Safety- conscious with a commitment to workplace safety standards Additional Preferred Experience: · Basic small engine repair · Familiarity with Zero Turn Walk-behind, Stand-On and Ride-On lawn mowers Wright Manufacturing is proud to offer our R&D Seasonal Equipment Operators the following benefits: * Paid Leave equaled to approximately five hours per month * Weekly pay checks * Training and cross training * Opportunity for overtime paid at time and one half * Pride in our Team and our Products We work hard and care deeply.
