All qualified candidates will be contacted Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Sanitation Technician to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of our production facilities. This role involves deep cleaning tasks to prepare equipment and production lines for the next day of operation. Responsibilities Perform deep cleaning of the production floor, equipment, and necessary areas prior to the next day of production. Utilize heavy-duty chemicals to clean machines thoroughly, ensuring readiness for production by 5:30 am. Sanitize pipes used for bottle filling and each component of the production line. Adhere to safety protocols, never cleaning while machines are operational. Wear and utilize provided PPE, including gloves and protective suits, when handling industrial chemicals. Skills Experience in industrial chemical sanitation, preferably within food manufacturing. Proficiency in general cleaning, production tasks, and janitorial duties. Familiarity with GMP, sanitation, and food manufacturing standards. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to work in a GMP/SOP environment, adhering to necessary attire such as hair nets and safety glasses. Capability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 75 lbs. Strong work ethic with the ability to work swiftly and maintain good attendance. Why Work Here? Work Environment The role is based in a food manufacturing environment that strictly complies with CGMP and HAACP guidelines. The production floor is not climate-controlled, leading to varying temperatures—cold in winter and hot in summer. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Swedesboro, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.90 - $22.90/hr.
