Job Description Job Description A client of Insight Global is seeking for a Logistics Coordinator to join their team. The Logistic Support Coordinator will use computer systems to track, log, verify, and report data. Responsibilities include receiving materials, monitoring and maintaining inventory, processing material receipts, and supporting manufacturing work in progress (WIP) and contract end items (CEI). The role also involves performing physical cycle counts, reconciling stock, processing adjustments, and ensuring compliance during audits. Candidates should be organized, able to work independently and in teams, handle multiple assignments, and have good communication skills. Knowledge of Microsoft products and attention to detail are essential. The ideal candidate will be committed to the mission and able to follow established processes and procedures. Length : 12 month contract extension Duties Coordinate and manage logistics operations, including transportation and distribution processes. Analyze data to optimize supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement. Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock movements. Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues that may arise. Oversee inventory control processes to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies. Conduct regular audits of the distribution center to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards. Prepare reports on logistics performance metrics, including cost analysis and delivery timelines. Must Haves: High School diploma or GED Minimum of 2 years of experience in receiving, inventory control, logistics, warehouse or similar role Able to obtain and keep a forklift operating license Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs Experience with Microsoft products Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with SAP, GOLD, and ISE/CADSTAR Knowledge of DD Form 1149, DD Form 250 Warehouse/Forklift Certifications
