qualifications: Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer

working with algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis and
software design. 2 years of experience building and developing
large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, and
experience with compute technologies, storage, and hardware
architecture. Experience leading project teams and setting

educational institutions. The US base salary range for this
full-time position is $207,000-$300,000 bonus equity benefits. Our
salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within
the range, individual pay is determined by work location and
additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and

Responsibilities Engage in and improve the whole life-cycle of
Google Public Sector air-gapped services from inception and design,
through to deployment, operation and refinement. Support services
before they go live through activities such as system design
consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity
planning and launch reviews. Maintain services once they are live
by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall
system health. Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like
automation, and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve
reliability and velocity. Practice sustainable incident response
and blameless postmortems.
