Job Description:

ManTech is looking for a Linux Systems Administrator who will be responsible for maintaining and administering our servers and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and operation of IT systems within mission-critical national security programs. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of Linux systems and a keen ability to troubleshoot and optimize IT infrastructure. Perform regular system maintenance, including security patches, updates, and system checks. Monitor system performance to ensure everything runs smoothly and securely. Resolve issues and outages quickly and efficiently to maintain operation integrity. Ensure system security through proactive measures and regular reviews. Administer servers, backup operations, and system monitoring. Document IT processes, configurations, and changes. Expert knowledge in Linux system administration, Apache/NGINX, scripting (Bash, Python) Familiarity with network setup and security protocols/firewalls Ability to manage multiple tasks with high attention to detail Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer) or equivalent Linux certification is preferred
