Job Description Job Description Broadcast Infrastructure Technician Industry Sector: Audio Entertainment / Broadcast Media Duration: 6-month contract (strong possibility of extension) Location: 100% Onsite Schedule: 24/7 environment (rotational shifts) Interview: 2 rounds | Training: ~6 weeks Role Overview We are looking for a Broadcast Infrastructure Technician to provide first-line technical support for broadcast studios, IT systems, and remote users. This is a hands-on, support-focused role in a live broadcast environment, similar to a helpdesk but dedicated to broadcast operations. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot broadcast, IT, hardware, software, and network issues Support studio personnel and remote users Monitor system logs and maintain operational uptime Install software, firmware, hardware, and cabling Manage incidents and tickets; escalate when needed Participate in broadcast and infrastructure projects Required Qualifications 5 years of broadcast maintenance or broadcast engineering experience (radio, TV, streaming) Strong IT troubleshooting background Experience supporting live or production-critical environments Proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable asking questions Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders Authorized to work in the U.S. Technical Skills Windows & macOS, Linux (preferred) ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools Networking fundamentals (routers, switches, firewalls) Broadcast/production systems and studio equipment IP-based audio/video systems AutoCAD / Visio (plus) Evertz, Telos, LAWO (plus) Company Description • Come get Swoon’d • Swoon handles the staffing needs of over 80 Fortune 500 clients. • We have won Best and Brightest Companies to Work for in the Nation Award 6 years in a row. • Swoon was also awarded the Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Private Companies in the US from 2016 – 2020.
