Responsibilities & QualificationsRESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a dedicated Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams,
ensuring adherence to Agile values and principles.
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning,
Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Coach teams in Agile best practices, fostering a culture of
continuous improvement and self-organization.
- Remove impediments and shield the team from distractions to
maintain focus on sprint goals.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to manage and prioritize the
product backlog effectively.
- Promote Agile methodologies and foster an environment of
transparency and open communication.
- Track and analyze key performance metrics to assess team
efficiency and areas for improvement.
- Facilitate cross-team coordination and collaboration in a
scaled Agile environment.
- Provide guidance on Agile frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban,
or SAFe, as applicable.
- Support the adoption and implementation of Agile tools and
practices across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with security and clearance requirements as
mandated by the organization.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Active Secret Clearance (or higher)
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or
equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile
Coach.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,
Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks such
as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
- Experience working in a government or defense contracting
environment is a plus.
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively
in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Rally, or
VersionOne.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and Agile at scale
frameworks.
- Previous experience working with distributed teams.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.OverviewWe are seeking
