Job Description:

High-end fine wine & spirits store is seeking full-time help for the position of cashier. The right candidate will have at least 2+ years of experience in retail (Wine/Liquor Preferred), provides friendly customer service in a fast paced, physically demanding role, efficiently processes high volume transactions on a computerized POS system. A successful candidate must be a skilled communicator with a diverse customer base to ensure that each consumer has the best possible shopping experience.




Requirements




Ability to walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 8-10 hours a day


Ability to lift 45 pounds


Strong interpersonal skills necessary for establishing customer and team relationships


Ability to demonstrate a positive and engaging attitude and demeanor


Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting and establishing a rapport with customers while informing them of our products and services.


Perform cashier functions and adhere to age restrictions policy while completing customer transactions.


Direct customers through the checkout lanes while accurately handling cash, & credit cards, gift cards, coupons, and balance a register drawer.


Able to work a flexible schedule - which may require weekends, evenings.


Carry customers order to their vehicle when necessary


Job Types: Full-time, Part-time


Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

* 8 hour shift

Weekly day range:

* Weekend availability




Education:

* High school or equivalent (Preferred)
