About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health
to find a qualified Transplant RN in Washington, Washington DC,
20007! Job Title: Transplant Coordinator Profession: Registered
Nurse Specialty: Transplant Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per
Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2 years of experience in clinic or acute
inpatient settings. Basic MedSurg experience is acceptable for this
opening. Completion of at least 1 prior travel assignment is
required. License: Pending license accepted but must have license
in hand prior to start date. Certifications: Basic Life Support
(BLS) certification is required. Must-Have: Flu vaccination is
required with no exemptions. Description: The role involves
coordinating care for patients being evaluated for kidney-pancreas
transplantation. The work schedule is 5 days a week from 08:00 to
17:00, with a 1-hour lunch break. There is no on-call or weekend
requirement for this position. No floating to other units is
required. Travelers must show proof of local residency within 60
miles of the facility. All candidates must complete compliance
requirements within designated timeframes after signing the
contract. If selected, two supervisor references will be needed for
verification. Candidates must be comfortable proceeding without an
interview. Job responsibilities encompass direct patient
interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration. The patient
population includes adults requiring specialized transplant
services. Candidates are encouraged to manage their schedules
effectively to prevent conflicts with work obligations. Completion
of specific training modules is mandatory for all new hires. 5
