Details - Work in an acute care hospital setting as part of the Imaging Department - Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with 10-hour shifts - Assignment duration is 13 weeks - No local candidates within 25 miles of the facility Requirements - Minimum 2 years of recent acute care hospital MRI experience required - Current ARRT(MR) certification required - Current BLS certification through AHA required - High school diploma and diploma from a certified school of Radiology required - BS or MS in healthcare preferred - Must have an active, unencumbered license (license required if applicable) - Candidate must provide US Social Security Number for consideration - Must submit two professional references, preferably from manager or supervisor within the past 12 months - CPI certification is required - No pending licenses will be accepted Additional Information - The MRI Technologist provides clinical MRI services to ensure optimal departmental function - Acts as a resource for MRI students and other technologists - Responsible for maintaining magnetic safety for patients, staff, and self according to protocols and guidelines - Expected to maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a safe and orderly state - Completes ancillary tasks to support efficient departmental operations American Traveler Job ID P-655316.
