MedStar Health seeks a dedicated PRN Physical Therapist to join our team, providing as-needed top-tier rehabilitative care in alignment with our commitment to patient-first healthcare. In this role, you will help patients regain movement and manage pain after surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. Your expertise will directly contribute to each patient's personalized recovery and the overall well-being of the community we serve. Evaluate patients’ physical conditions and devise suitable treatment plans. Implement therapy interventions tailored to patient needs and monitor progress. Educate patients and families about health maintenance and post-therapy care. Consult and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care plans. Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Proficiency in physical therapy techniques and tools Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle a flexible workload Capable of critical thinking and complex problem solving Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid state Physical Therapy License CPR certified Membership in professional physical therapy association preferred
