Desired Description: The Emergency Room is a fast-paced environment
that treats every type of patient. Emergency Room nurses manage
critical care skills such as medication titrations, arterial lines,
mass transfusion of blood, and chest tubes. Patients range from
urgent care (simple procedures) to psychiatric, pediatric, and
critical care/trauma patients. Nurses coordinate and deliver care
to patients with complex nursing care needs to ensure the highest
level of safety and quality while promoting a positive patient
