Registered Nurse (RN) | Surgical Intensive Care Unit Location: Baltimore, MD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,667 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified SICU RN in Baltimore, Maryland, 21287! Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgical ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) Experience: Current experience with recovery of post-op cardiac surgery patients in a dedicated CV ICU is required. License: RN License required. Certifications: BLS required. ACLS preferred. Critical Care Certification preferred. Trauma course preferred. Must-Have: Experience trained and worked in a dedicated Open-Heart Unit receiving patients directly from the OR. Description: The position involves working in a dedicated cardiovascular surgical ICU. Nurses will provide care for patients recovering from cardiac surgery, cardiac transplantation, lung transplantation, and the placement of ventricular assist devices. Responsibilities include managing ventilators, CRRT, Swan, epicardial wires/pacemakers, and vasoactive drips titration. Experience with Level 1 IABP and ECMO is preferred. The nurse/patient ratio is 1:1 or 1:2.
