Certifications: ACLS, NRP Must-Have: Prior experience with triage
of obstetrical patients, circulating skills for C-sections
Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in
Labor and Delivery. The shift will be nights with a schedule of
three 12-hour shifts per week. This position requires working every
other weekend. The facility supports high-risk obstetric care with
16 labor rooms, 6 triage rooms, and 3 operating rooms. The unit
also includes a Level 3 NICU. Nurses will care for all obstetric
patients greater than 20 weeks gestation. Typical patient
conditions include preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, preterm
premature rupture of membranes, and multiple gestations. There is
in-house anesthesia available 24/7. The team performs external
cephalic versions during daytime hours. The staffing ratio is 1
nurse for every 2 patients. The documentation system used is EPIC.
This position requires a commitment to providing quality patient
care in a teaching facility atmosphere. Requirements Required for
