Educational Requirements

Masters Degree in Art Therapy from an accredited institution; Certified as a Registered Art Therapist (ATR)

Position Requirements

Knowledge of principles, concepts and methodology of art therapy appropriate for chronically-terminally ill patients and bereaved caregivers. Ability to work with a wide array of visual art mediums. Ability to develop rapport, create a safe environment, and a mode of expression through art for patients and families. Demonstrated ability to utilize art therapy clinical techniques, problem solving skills and decision making skills.
