JOB SUMMARY The Behavioral Health Techinician is responsible for observ ing client behaviors , record ing their conditions , and lead ing them to therapeutic a nd recreational activities. Techs will work various shifts and will provide overall supervision of the clients in the facility . What you will get - A part of a collaborative multi-disciplinary team.- The opportunity to make a positive impact not only in our clients' lives, but in our community as well.- Solid Staff Development Program- Competitive compensation and Comprehensive Benefits What you will do Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:+ - Conducting observations and documenting client's activities, behavior, and progress , while maintaining a the rapeutic client milieu.+ - Operate s as the primary client liaison to facilitate a cohesive client experience.+ - Enter s client information into EMR database as directed , and relay s client issues / concerns to members of the treatment team in a timely manner .+ - Maintain s timely and accurate documentation of client interactions.+ - Provide routine, practical, real-world support in coping with life's day to day demands through modeling and coaching approaches to substance use recovery support based on an established individualized treatment plan .+ - Ability to explain and complete admissions process with incoming clients including search es , Urine Drug Screen, Breathalyze r, client tours and initial client orientation.+ - Maintain a professional and courteous image and p romote s a healthy recovery environment .+ - Escort s clients to various activities throughout the center and on outings.+ - Performs g eneral housekeeping functions .+ - Positively promotes BriteLife Recovery at Hanover to prospective clients and employees. What you need - High School Diploma- Preferred, Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS), or willingness to pursue- Valid Driver's License - Growth mindset You may be a Behavioral Health Technician, Substance Abuse Technician, Recovery Support Specialist, Residential Technician, Addiction Recovery Technician, Drug and Alcohol Treatment Specialist, Addictions Counselor, Substance Abuse Counselor, Mental Illness Care Advisor or Substance Use Disorder Treatment Specialist currently.
