Location: Hanover, PA
Salary: $130,000.00 USD Annually - $150,000.00 USD Annually
Description: JDP is seeking a Director of Quality Assurance in Hanover, PA area! The candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the safety of all products. They will work to create new products, meet customer ingredient requirements, and ensure all products are properly labeled. Responsibilities:

• Establish production and quality controls standards.
• Develop budget and cost controls.
• Obtain data regarding ingredient and nutritional requirements.
• Coordinate staff schedules for optimum utilization of HR.
• Develop and implement operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate problems and improve quality.
• Develop maintenance and manufacturing departments by training, interacting and accountability.
• Develop and coordinate processes for compliance for customer audits and certifications.
• Direct and coordinate activities concerned with quality of company products.
• Meet budgetary goals to include labor variance, ingredient variance, indirect accounts, waste and downtime.
• Oversee compliance with GFSI certification.
• Oversee sanitation department to ensure compliance with GMP regulations.
• Oversee training of quality and sanitation departments.
• Review and analyze QC reports and procedures.
  Requirements:
  • 6+ years of management or supervisor experience
  • 3+ years experience in the IT procurement process or inventory control environment
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Must demonstrate prior leadership skills
