THE TEAM:FIS is seeking a Testing Practice Management Executive
with deep knowledge of Banking and Payments systems, to lead the
NextGen Banking Implementations Testing Transformation practice
which is focused on all aspects of testing throughout the
implementation of our Modern Banking Platform (MBP) and Digital One
(D1) products.FIS' Modern Banking Platform is an innovative
cloud-native core banking platform designed with API-first
functionality. The Platform allows banks to build the platform
required for today's business needs with the flexibility and speed
to innovate into the future. The solution embraces three essential
attributes:
- Component-based: All components are self-contained and
developed individually to key standards.
- API First: All of FIS' market-leading core components can be
exposed as (APIs) to be consumed by the bank and third-party
applications.
- Cloud native: The cloud native design allows client to take

customer-centric banking experience for your customers, business
clients and bankers - providing consistency across digital and

D1 is a highly configurable, customer-facing application that
enables intuitive digital self-service banking, regardless of
device.You will lead and manage our global testing strategy and
execution spanning people, process and technology across all MBP
and D1 implementations across a diverse set of large financial
institution clients. This individual is accountable for all aspects
of testing management including scoping, effort estimation,
strategy, data, execution, automation, reporting, and alignment
with internal business transformation and our client's test
strategy and execution. The role will collaborate across different
functions including Sales, Product Management, Development,
Infrastructure & Operations, Client Relations etc., to make sure
all activities are aligned and executing to deliver on the program
on schedule, on cost, high quality and to client expectations. The
role will interface regularly with FIS and Client executives,
contributing to steering committee meetings, client debriefs and
managing expectations, escalations and progress across the testing
program spectrum.You will serve as an advisor to the C-suite of the
largest banks in program execution, while simultaneously building a
repeatable testing framework for the NextGen Implementations
practice. This is a highly visible role requiring an individual
with extensive technology delivery, and advisory and implementation
experience across banking & financial services. He/She will be
accountable for delivering efficient and predictable implementation
of testing practices for MBP and D1 customers around the world. The

Description
- Transforms testing process and framework across the end-to-end
implementation delivery lifecycle to improve consistency in
delivery excellence (e.g., defect containment, 90%+ automation,
streamlining of costs, improved productivity across a global
delivery team)
- Optimizes testing practices across our digital banking and core
banking platforms; objective of consolidation and consistency
balanced with an appreciation for specialization between core and
channels
- Leads a diverse workforce to champion change, develops
standardized industry best processes, automates testing portfolio,
and brings senior thought leadership to continuously improve
testing transformation function.
- Establishes, maintains and fully utilizes a team of qualified
professionals by recruiting ahead of needs, motivating staff to
reach full potential and actively tracking staff utilization.
- Maintains library of test cases and scripts tagged to both a
standard business capability model and application inventory
- Accountable for test data quality and reporting consistency
spanning all programs, with objective of gaining ready insight from
data
- Collaborates with Implementations Business Transformation
practice on efficiencies in business and technical analyst
activities that overlaps with testing team (e.g., requirements
inventory alignment with test cases/scripts, consistent smoke
testing)
- Defines and executes test automation practices to improve
defect containment and speed & quality of regression
- Aligns with engineering on testing automation framework and use
of shared test cases/scripts
- Collaborates with engineering on acceptance of general
availability and monthly maintenance releases; accountable for
client-specific configuration regression above model bank
configuration
- Partners and challenges clients in client test reporting (e.g.,
sharing of test cases/scripts, holding clients to their status
reporting and scope control)
- Transitions automated test cases and scripts post
implementation warranty period to production support with focus on
sustainability
- Contributes to divisional revenue, EBITDA and forecasting
objectives.
- Conducts internal studies and/or audits on client and product
development/engineering or operations team activities to evaluate
if processes and deliverables fulfill requirements for quality, to
uncover errors or deficiencies in processes and deliverables and to
identify strengths and opportunities for improvement; studies and
audits include issues such as profitability, productivity and
quality.
- Monitors testing team's work to ensure consistency and
compliance with standard processes.
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Leadership, management, organizational, and team building

- Ability to build relationships with C-level management, peers
and others.
- Thorough knowledge and use of process improvement and quality
management methods, tools and technology used to create and support
defect-free, application software or business operations processes
for which the quality program will be focused
- Considerable knowledge and qualification in company's standard
processes and one or more best practices quality approaches, e.g.,
CMMI, ISO, six sigma, total quality measurement
- Thorough knowledge and experience conducting risk analyses,
quality assessments, audits and/or studies and implementing
successful process improvement programs
- Considerable knowledge of the basic principles, processes,
phases and roles of application development methodologies and
software development life cycles (SDLC)
- Considerable knowledge of the software applications, business
operations and processes used within the division
- Broad knowledge of regulatory requirements, financial
institution operations, and risk management.
- Skill in understanding client's needs, establishing credibility
