Job Description:
Are you currently an experienced Convention Services Manager that
is ready to take the next step in your career? We have that next
step for you working as a Meetings Express Manager. In this role,
you are responsible for representing Turf Valley's services and
facilities to prospective clients and customers in the resort's
continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and
financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for
performing the following tasks to the highest standards.
-Respond to sales inquiries from potential groups with 10 guest
rooms or less on peak that is associated with a meeting (Examples:
Corporate meetings, Association meetings, religious retreats,
etc.)
-Participate in marketing and strategy plans to increase client
base
-Host and entertain existing clients and maintain client
accounts
-Initiate new sales, prospects and qualifies leads and solicits
potential clients
-Conduct property site tours and answer questions knowledgably
-Determine rates, prepare proposals, negotiate contacts, service
accounts and analyze lost business for the resort
-Develop sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed established
revenue and room night goals
-Effectively communicate with all involved departments to assure
that all information required for a successful meeting is received
and understood
