GENERAL SUMMARY
This position is primarily responsible for leading our third-party provider (Accenture) and working collaboratively with one Deduction Team Leader and six Deduction Representatives to manage Snacks unidentified deductions and direct Store delivery pricing deduction processes, while strengthening the control environment and increasing efficiencies by researching issues, identifying
root causes and implementing process improvements. This role is responsible for the Snacks unidentified deduction balances, and insuring partner brand dollars are removed from direct store delivery deductions prior to being moved to the Sales Service Organization, partnering closely with internal and external stakeholders to define and meet assigned metric targets. Additionally, this
role will have responsibility for resolving critical business issues identified by the Team Leader and/or the Deduction Representatives. Throughout this work, this position will develop strong relationships and work cross-functionally with the Non-Trade Team, Sales Service Organization, and Cash Application Department. The role reports into the Senior Manager - Deductions Management.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
40% Manage customer deductions process, providing governance, oversight and managing issue escalation as appropriate. Strict adherence to policy and process while incorporating key controls is required. Effectively manage and lead team to achieve all deduction balance targets. Conduct root cause anlayses, identify trends and lead the solutions effort to develop alternate strategies and tactics. Identify key opportunity areas for cost avoidance and process improvements. 25% Collaborate with customers and internal functions on key opportunity areas such as deduction validation and processing, missing deduction backup, and other areas as assigned. Responsible for providing key business stakeholders with periodic reviews of open deduction balances, recommend solutions and work cross functionally with the Sales Service Organization, Non-Trade team and customers to drive improvements. 20% Build organizational capability, including direction setting, development and performance management for direct reports and outsourced team. Ensure team is highly functioning and adheres to processes and policies. 10% Manage reporting and analysis of internal level metrics. Work closely with the third-party provider (Accenture) to ensure business processes are properly executed and adequately controlled. 5% Develop and ensure implementation of specific project plans, policy and procedures and change management procedures, including identifying opportunities to standardize processes across businesses where appropriate.
COMPLEXITY AND SCOPE
Demonstrate good business judgment by knowing how to prioritize critical tasks for the team during very busy demand patterns. Knowledge of financial controls/acumen and understanding of Sales and Supply Chain's programs, policies and processes. Analyze data and translate into actionable insights. Must use knowledge of the organization and support systems to analyze and evaluate alternative solutions to respond to internal and external customer requests, identifying and minimizing the company's exposure. Develop and implement specific project plans, policy and procedures and change management procedures as needed Provide strategic direction for the team and must possess clear verbal and written communication to explain issues and propose solutions to customers, sales, finance teams or managers. Responsible for evaluating existing processes and identifying opportunities to standardize and streamline processes to eliminate inefficiencies and excess costs, working with peers across the organization to gain alignment and execute change.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED
Bachelor's Degree required

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
5+ years of relevant experience

OTHER MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED
Must possess strong leadership skills Must be proficient in MS Office Suite Programs and possess an ability to quickly learn new systems. Experience with SAP and Envision Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow through to resolution on issues Good business perspective skills with the ability to look at problems or projects through the eyes of the customers, competitors, coworkers and managers Action-oriented with strong prioritization capabilities and a proven ability for analytical and problem solving skills, direction setting, and organizational alignment skills Ability to communicate effectively to provide direction and establish value-added working relationships with clients, vendors and peers Ability to execute and deliver within diverse global cultures and resources
% OF TRAVEL REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION
5-10% travel

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Normal office environment Some holiday and weekend coverage required throughout the year, especially at fiscal quarter closes (Oct, Jan, Apr, and Jul).
