position you willWork in partnership with the SDLG Sales Manager in
North America to develop, coordinate, and implement a successful
business plan and go to market strategy. Position yourself as the
applicable product, industry expert, managing the holistic growth
of the product from design influence (voice of the customer) to
supporting Dealer and field activities on SDLG products.Areas of
- Build Product and Industry knowledge/competence by regularly
visiting customers and Tradeshows/exhibitions, studying our
- Participate in product specific product planning
meetings/activities and inform/guide the teams in terms of the
regional product position, competitor status, and
changes/strategies needed to advance our position.
- Manage Dealer / Customer Support functions for aftermarket
sales and service.
- Own Top List of requests for relevant R&D group
representing needs of NA market.
- Be the Product specialist for designated machines and their
related options and attachments.
- Recommend on behalf of North American region for product
development, engineering priorities, etc., for assigned products
responding to applicable Global and/or PPL contacts.
- Monitor and understand the market for the applicable product to
include market and segments trends, pricing and identify potential
threats and opportunities.
- Provide the new product marketing launch plan including,
training and demo activities, dealer, etc. Monitor the launch plan
progress and act accordingly to insure performance to the
- Competitor expert: be involved in global comparison product
tests, monitor trade journals and competitor websites for
competitor updates and develop market update reports for the
- Assist in dealer activities as needed to include demos,
customer visits, sales training, unique product deliveries, open
house events, etc.,

experience in the construction equipment industry with a strong
familiarity of equipment types, segments and applications.Strong
understanding of construction equipment distribution practices,
