Job Description Job Description The Reggio-Inspired Day Home is a small, home-based early learning program for children ages 2-5. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated lead teacher for our Preschool/Pre-K class. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and creating a nurturing learning environment. Qualifications: - All applicants must have experience working with young children - Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred - Must be organized and have excellent communication skills - Must have experience working with young children in an early childhood setting Essential Position Duties: - Implement the Reggio Emilia-inspired philosophy - Maintain a cheerful, nurturing, healthy, safe and clean environment - Communicate regularly with families and Administrative staff - Monitor growth and development of each child - Protect the rights and privacy of children and families by maintaining strict confidentiality - Work towards increasing knowledge and abilities in the field of early childhood education Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm / 8:30am-5:30pm (depending on shift) Compensation and Benefits: Salary commensurate with experience.
