Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a
vibrant K-12 public school setting located approximately 45 minutes
south of Washington DC. This contract role begins as soon as
possible and continues through May 29, 2026, with potential
consideration for part-time candidates able to work at least 20
hours per week. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver individualized
speech and language therapy services to students primarily in
elementary and middle school grades. - Manage a caseload of up to
55 students, typically around 50. - Collaborate with educators and
school staff to support student communication goals. - Maintain
required documentation and progress reports aligned with school
protocols. - Attend assigned schools, with a maximum of two schools
per SLP, based on fit and location preferences discussed during the
interview. - Participate in supervision if employed as a Clinical
Fellow (CF). Qualifications and Experience: - Active Virginia
licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist is required. -
Candidates with Clinical Fellowship status are encouraged;
supervision will be provided as needed. - Experience working in
school settings preferred but not mandatory. - Possession of the
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred. - Willingness
to undergo immediate Virginia Department of Social Services
background check and TB testing. - Strong communication and
organizational skills. - Speech-Language Pathology Assistants
(SLPAs) with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply, as
the position may consider such candidates. Work Schedule &
Location: - Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week full-time
schedule. - On-site position; remote or hybrid work is not
available. - Assignments are within the Stafford County public
school district, with locations not exceeding two sites per SLP.
