Job Description Job Description Busy Medical Office Receptionist Position Job Duties: *Answering and directing calls *Rescheduling patient appointment when necessary *Recall of patients who have missed or cancelled their appointments *Checking in patients by: verifying demographics, collecting their insurance cards/ID/patient paperwork *Directing incoming faxes to the appropriate department *Collecting copays and deductibles from patient prior to visit or testing *Notifying patient of referrals required and obtaining them by the visit date Pay Rate: Starting at $16.00/hour, depending on experience Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am- 5:00pm Job Type: Full-time Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: - 401(k) - 401(k) matching - Dental insurance - Health insurance - Paid time off - Vision insurance Medical Specialty: - Cardiology Ability to commute/relocate: - Frederick, MD 21702: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Education: - High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: - Customer service: 1 year (Required) - Computer skills: 1 year (Required) Work Location: In person
