Position Summary

Gettysburg College is seeking a part-time (5-20 hours per week) Box Office Ticket Agent to work in the Majestic Theater Box Office. Generally these positions will work sometime between the hours of noon and 10pm. Some flexibility does exist with scheduling. Duties of this position include: selling, accounting, filling of ticket orders and general paperwork within the Majestic Box Office as well as selling concessions in a fast paced environment. Position will work with the general public and offer assistance and information with events.

Qualifications

Must be able to promote superior customer service and to work independently. Previous money handling experience, computer experience and ability to communicate with the public in an effective and cordial manner required. Previous experience in a box office, entertainment venue, food service, or retail sales highly preferred. Must be able to stand and sit for long periods of time, as well as lift 50 lbs. The ability to work with a diverse clientele and student body is crucial.
