Job Description:

We are seeking a Controller For Commercial Glass Contractor to become an integral part of our team. You will oversee financial activities and personnel as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency. Responsibilities: Create, analyze and interpret financial data in order to advise management Create monthly financial reports Able to understand financial data to determine the integrity of the data Advise management on the vest course of financial action to meet company goals Prepare company budgets Run monthly job review meetings Responsible for all administrative functions and coordinates those functions accordingly Understand the roles of each person in the company structure in order to know how it affects financial data Oversee and coordinate all financial activities and personnel Set controls and budgets to mitigate risk and increase return on investments Standardize and maintain a system of accounting records and techniques Conduct internal audits to assess financial status Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations Serve as primary contact for external auditors Qualifications: Previous experience in accounting management or other related fields Willing to learn construction accounting if not already familiar Knowledge of financial tools available to record data properly Strong leadership qualities Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong problem solving skills Deadline and detail-oriented Attributes: Personable Intelligent Strong minded/Good work ethic Takes responsibility Honest and trustworthy Leads by example Can hold a strong relationship with banks, bonding company and insurance partners Emmitsburg Glass Company offers a very competitive benefit package and bonus program which will be outlined during the interview process.
