About the Company and Opportunity:
Our client is a CPA firm located in Ellicott City, MD. They work to build trusting and engaging relationships with clients and encourage a culture of teamwork and continuous learning. Due to increase in work during tax season, they are looking to add a Tax Accountant to their small accounting team
Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. Occasional Saturday work (9-2) during busy season Hybrid work schedule offered if needed

Reports to the partners of the firm
Duties Include:
Preparing and reviewing a high volume of individual and business tax returns, primarily business tax returns
Qualifications for the Tax Accountant:
3-5 years' accounting and finance experience required
Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, Business or related required. CPA designation highly preferred

5 years' Excel experience required
Ultra Tax and QuickBooks experience preferred
Strong understanding of business tax returns required
