About the Company and Opportunity:

• Our client is a CPA firm located in Ellicott City, MD. They work to build trusting and engaging relationships with clients and encourage a culture of teamwork and continuous learning. • Due to increase in work during tax season, they are looking to add a Tax Accountant to their small accounting team
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. Occasional Saturday work (9-2) during busy season
  • Hybrid work schedule offered if needed
  • Reports to the partners of the firm Duties Include:
    • Preparing and reviewing a high volume of individual and business tax returns, primarily business tax returns Qualifications for the Tax Accountant:
      • 3-5 years' accounting and finance experience required
      • Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, Business or related required.
        • CPA designation highly preferred
        • 5 years' Excel experience required
        • Ultra Tax and QuickBooks experience preferred
        • Strong understanding of business tax returns required
